DJ HAZHE
Eric Cunningham Sarabia, AKA Hazhe, producer, dj, mix engineer, teacher and rapper raised between Spain and New Jersey.
Grew up under the direct influence of his father and DJ mentor Bill T. Cunningham, who has been in active since the 70s spinning funk, soul, disco and soulful House music, and who also is a Loud Speakers artisan.
Thousand of vinyls around was the decoration of its first years memories. Later in Zaragoza, also known as the Spanish rap Mecca is the city where he spent most of his young years, learning from the best group around, “Violadores del Verso” formed by Kase O, Sho Hai, Lirico and RdeRumba. He quickly self taught musical production and made his first rap album in 1999 “Con el micrófono en la mano” with came out thru “RapSolo” Violadores del Verso ́s Record Label.

Explosive Creativity
He always been a super creative mind, even before the music, from his 10 to 15 years old he was creating bombs, flamethrowers, electronic devices, powder dart guns, and dangerous homemade artifacts that almost made him go to reformatory. Luckily that young Hazhe discovered a new way of creating bombs… the musical ones.
He produced multiple cult rap albums such as Cloaca Company “Verso Municcione”, Rapsusklei&Hazhe “La historia mas real de vuestra vida” and “Nucleares” with el Sicario just to name a few, his discography is so extensive… Smoothe da hustler, Shyheim, Jarren Benton, Quadir Lateef, Killa Sha, Wordsworth, Kase O, Sho-hai, Lirico, Violadores del verso, SFDK, Mala Juntera, Rapsusklei, Apache, Barbara Urbano Vargas, Xhelazz, Sharif, Ayax y Prok, Capaz, Presion, Natos y Waor, Kaze, Gran Purismo, Toteking, Shotta, Juaninacka, Skone, Falsalarma, Sagan Ummo, Carlos Porcel, Sholo Truth, Ossian, Elaitor…and tons more…
The Lo-Fi Seasons
When LoFi became a thing… he released 4 albums based on the Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring vibes…where the process was apart from getting inspired by each season, by the photograph of each of the beautiful women that features on each artwork… Instead of making the artwork afterwards. So he just made the beats looking to the images to match with the music… so they became Love-Fi Albums.
In 2012 he made one of the first instrumental albums where the only rap collabs appear on the interludes… H-A-Z-H-E. An album that occupied his mind during his first divorce and helped him to stay away of the depression… a feeling that remains frozen on that album with was dedicated to “Solitude”
Classical and the Big Screen
DJ Hazhe performed his piece, “Olivos en la Luna” at the “Manuel de Falla” Auditorium with Granada´s Orchestra and conductor Glass Marcano. His performance at the iconic music palace left all the spectators speechless. It was the first time that a DJ had entered the jungle of wind instruments, strings, brass instruments and sheet music, using techniques and methods rarely seen in the world of classical music, which proved that there are no borders when you speak the universal language of music.

Later that year he performed at Cannes Festival also with Venezuelan conductor Glass Marcano.
Life was tryin to speak to Hazhe sayin go further… that’s when Spanish movie director David Galan Galindo contacted and proposed Hazhe as music composer for his new movie “Matusalen” 2023 Spanish rap comedy movie that features lots of famous rap artists cameos including Hazhe himself.

In this DJ Sets you can dance to everything from classic Rap, Funk, Disco, Reggae, Soul, and Rock tracks to more modern and eclectic pieces in the Trap and Electronica genres… As a born researcher and compulsive digger, it’s normal to hear underground jewels mixed with great hits… If someone wrote the rules of the DJ, he doesn’t care too much, because when it comes to mixing, he can create loops over which he plays the piano or various instruments or drums creating new music live before resolving the mixes. You never know what’s going to happen. He has been spinning bangers around for so long.. was resident at SWAG Club IBIZA, Social Club Mallorca. Jungle Sessions MADRID, just to name a few…

He’s first love really was rapping but then started producing because nobody around had beats to rap over… it was 1993… in Spain… So at the same time he was making beats for all the underground rap scene he was laying down verses here and there that he collected under the name of “Letras y colabos”. He also have an alterego name when he raps… “Sarabian Dope” you can hear unique style on tracks like “Hard candy”, “Play off”, “Let it fly” or listen really breathtaking storytelling like “Morfina y opio”…
Such skills and delivery granted Hazhe a place in the 33 years Anniversary tour of KASE O, arguably the best rapper in Spanish in the whole world…
